You might wonder if it is even possible in this economy to make extra money at home. The first market that we will look at is the Baby Boomer market. There are approximately 76 million of the "baby boomer" generation that have grown up with the idea that every generation will do better than the previous generation. In stark reality, they have been awakened to the fact that many times their retirement income is less than what was expected. They realize that in order to sustain their quality of life, they must work longer and in some cases-retirement will never come.
This is the perfect niche that is willing to learn a new skill, possibly in the computer genre, so that they may earn extra money to subsidize their retirement. You only have to go as far as ClickBank or Commission Junction to find a good product to present to the baby boomer generation.
The second market that we will look at for 2010 is the Green Economy. 'Green' economy, according to Wikipedia, is a fast growing new economic development model in contrast to the existing 'black' economic model based on fossil fuels, such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas. 'Green' economy includes green energy generation based on renewable energy to substitute for fossil fuels and energy conservation for efficient energy use. No one is against the idea of basic fuel conservation and independence. Thus, there are many products out there that can be marketed in our 'green' economy. Again, all that is needed is a quick search for these products and you will be ready to promote.
Our third and final niche for 2010 is the 'Frugal Living' niche. On an average, we are spending 30% less on everyday items than we did just one year ago. Discount stores are booming, moms are saving grocery coupons, people are eating at home more and even making their own laundry detergent and household cleaners. There are so many products to promote to this niche. There are ebooks that teach people absolutely everything they need to know to grow healthy, fresh organic food, without all the problems. They can save thousands each year by growing their own food and it can be done in a very small space.
